Participation Waiver & Media Release
This waiver must be accepted before participating in any AllweK-ranked event.
1. Assumption of Risk
I, the Participant (and my Parent/Guardian if under 18), acknowledge that K-Pop dancing and battle competitions are physically demanding activities. I am fully aware of the inherent risks, including but not limited to: muscle strains, falls, collisions, and other physical injuries. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
2. Full Release of Liability and Indemnification
I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge AllweK, its officers, and the Local City Host from any and all claims, liabilities, or demands for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising out of my participation in the event.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any expenses or legal fees incurred due to my actions during the event.
3. Comprehensive Media Release
I grant AllweK and its authorized representatives the absolute and irrevocable right to use my name, likeness, image, voice, and performance in any and all media now known or hereafter developed (including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the Website).
I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product and acknowledge that I will receive no financial compensation for such use. This content is used for the Global Ranking platform and public voting.
4. Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Local Host to secure medical treatment for me if I am unable to do so. I agree to be financially responsible for any medical costs incurred.
5. Fair Play and Conduct
I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the Local Host. AllweK reserves the right to disqualify any participant from the Global Ranking if they engage in unsportsmanlike conduct, fraud in voting, or violate the "One City Per Month" rule.
